Adithyan nominated for millennium medal
E M Adithyan, a freelance writer, has been nominated by the American Biographical Institute, North Carolina, USA, for the century's most notable medal -- The 2000 Millennium Medal of Honour.
Adithyan was earlier nominated for the `Man of the Year 1997' award by the same institute for his overall accomplishments and contributions to society.
The writer has contributed letters on a wide range of topics in almost all the leading English newspapers of India, besides several Hindi and Malayalam dailies and periodicals. He has the unique distinction of writing letters/articles on subjects starting from all the alphabets (A to Z). One of his articles on sports has achieved acclaim from a person no less than Juan Antonio Samaranch, president of the International Olympic Committee.
